Turn the modem on and wait for couple of minutes to warm it up. Then turn the wireless modem on and wait for few minutes. Turn your computer on and check if your devices are turned on properly. Check the wireless router to make sure that it has got the power, wireless, LAN and the internet lights turned on.

Now turn your computer on, open a web browser (Mozilla Firefox, Google chrome, Opera mini, Internet explorer whatever you use) and then type the IP address of the router in the address bar. Your router’s IP address should be 192.168.1.1or 192.168.0.1. Now you will see a login screen where you have to type the user name and the password(which should be provided with the router). Once you enter the user name and password then you will find a set up wizard window.

Once you have connected to the wireless router you will have the setup wizard window. This wizard window will assist you to set up the wireless router for you. You just have to click next to proceed. Meanwhile doing this procedure you can also customize the setting of the router according to your connection preference. However, we will suggest you not to fiddle with the setting options unless you are sure about the procedure.

Once the set up wizard will be completed you just have to click on “done” to finish the set up. Now you can enjoy the wireless internet connection.
